Hello riders, hello guests.

Welcome to our website. We should like to introduce ourselves and tell you about our programme, the riding courses and the estate. Called Hof Kirchhorst, this estate in Schleswig-Holstein near the Baltic Sea has been worked by the Naeve family for 14 generations. 25 years ago we started to transform the farm into an idyllic riding stable with a wide range of extra activities. Our prime ambition is to ensure that you have a good holiday and to help you achieve your objectives in the field of equestrian sports. Here is a summary of the riding courses. The courses are divided into groups, from beginners, to those with some experience to the professional rider. Both we and our school horses are well versed in preparing people to take the various levels of rider exams.

My name is Hans Jürgen Naeve and I take responsibility for the courses. I am a licensed groom and stable master / riding instructor  and a former show-jumping champion of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg .
My team consists of qualified riding instructors and very friendly helpers.
The lessons are hassle-free because our horses and show-jumpers are a good, safe ride.

Treating you as a friend we build confidence and lead you gently towards your equestrian goals.
You can learn show-jumping here without fear and in easy stages.

The courses are divided into groups, from beginners, to those with some experience to the professional rider. Both we and our school horses are well versed in preparing people to take the various levels of rider exams.

Privately owned horses are given loose boxes or outside stabling. Horses can graze on separate pastures enclosed by rubber belting fences.

Whatever the weather spectators and guests can watch the action in the show-jumping ring from the comfort of the trainer's hut.

Programme (daily) - 1 dressage lesson 45 mins - 1 dressage + jumping 75 min - 1 lesson theory

Other facilities - Bathing lake on site - Basketball court - Volleyball court - Soccer pitch - BBQ and social hut - Disco on site

During holiday periods around 70% of our guests are children and young people, 30% are adults. Outside these times adults comprise between 91 and 100%.

At any time you may ride along miles and miles of bridle-paths or enlist the assistance of trained riders, quite independently of the courses.
